Air Conditioning

When summer heat is on; your air conditioning system is hard at work cooling your home to make you comfortable. To  insure you don’t sweat it this summer; have your cooling system cleaned and inspected by a certified technician from BP Residential Heating and Cooling.

Follow these tips for energy-efficient performance.

  • Clean your air filters monthly. Dirty filters make equipment work harder and cause  more wear and tear on your system. They also increase your energy bill and lessen indoor air quality.
  • Choose furnaces and air conditioners  bearing the ENERGY STAR® logo. A properly sized and installed ENERGY STAR® air conditioner uses up to 20 percent less electricity  than older models.
  • Have a technician give your home’s cooling system a pre-season tune-up so that everything is running efficiently  when the 80-degree days arrive.
  • Have your cooling equipment installed and serviced  by a NATE-certified HVAC technician.
